Cost Engineer is responsible for managing and providing guidelines on costs and resources for the whole construction operations process.  Cost Engineers make sure projects are within budget and on schedule.

The Chartered Cost Engineer (ChCE) is a gold-standard certification accredited by the American Academy of Project Management ®.  This credential is for individuals with skills and experience in managing project costing and finances throughout the project life cycle, preparing estimates, budgets, costing plans, handling contracts, and resolving disputes related to project costs that are crucial in ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time.

Requirements:  

i)  Bachelor’s in Engineering, Quantity Surveying  or equivalent      ii)  3+ years as a Quantity Surveyor  or similar experience         iii)  Pass the  examination
